It’s in the grasp of Dorothy, who told her daughter, “Can you believe it? We’re going to have Christmas this year, baby.”
And hope can be found at the home of John, who felt like he had nowhere to turn, until someone told him about MOM. Now, with financial assistance and a new job, he and his daughter feel secure and hopeful about the future.
Hope can be found every day at MOM. It is at the Food Pantry when someone fills up their bag with fresh produce from the MOM garden so they can make their children a healthy meal. It is there when a volunteer smiles at a client and offers to help him find a new coat or when a senior is picked up and taken to the grocery store, an everyday necessity made easier for a tired body.
Because of you, hope is within the reach of more than 3,000 of your neighbors who rely on MOM to make it through each month.
Your generosity is what brings hope to the lives of people like Claire, Dorothy and John. It’s the generosity of the girl who used her pet sitting money to make a donation for a family in need and it’s joy of the gentleman who throws all of his change in a jar and then delivers it to the MOM office every December – it’s people like you who are changing the lives of people in this community.
